Job Description: 

We are looking for an empathetic counsellor to head  the career cell of a prestigious international school in Guwahati, Assam. The selected person will guide a dedicated and enthusiastic team of counsellors and help students in deciphering and selecting their preferred career trajectories. They will be required to uncover students’ prominent and latent strengths, administer and score aptitude measures, and discuss the findings with the students. They should also prepare them for an entry into their preferred disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting students’ career-related aspirations, concerns, and uncertainties throughout the consultation process.
• Reviewing students’ personal and educational undertakings.
• Guiding students through the completion of aptitude, personality, and adjacent tests.
• Scoring students’ responses to pertinent items and conferring with them about the results.
• Proposing career-related options that are congruent with the substantiated insights.
• Informing students about potential shortcomings in their skill sets and devising strategies to overcome those challenges.
• Walking them through the process of compiling and restructuring their resumes.
• Pinpointing and informing clients of potentially helpful career-related opportunities.
